James Shipman has been in private practice in Snohomish County since 1998. He has lived in Snohomish County since 1973. James focuses his practice on all areas of family law including divorces, child custody, child support, parenting plan and child support modifications and third party rights. He has served as a Snohomish County Superior Court Commissioner, Pro Tem since 2005 and as a frequent private arbitrator and mediator for family law matters. James has received a BV (high to very high legal skills) peer review from Martindale Hubbell, and has spoken at a number of CLE's regarding family law issues. James is also involved in many community activities.
